The Arts are a highly popular part of the curriculum and the wider life at Palmview State Primary School and gives students an exciting and hands-on experience of music appreciation and expression through dance and drama.
Our beautiful music building gives Palmview students a state-of-the-art base to explore and create music, dance and drama. There is a large general music room, strings room and band room as well as a soundproofed practice/recording room. The building is equipped with brand new instruments to encourage creativity and a love of the Arts. Students have a 40-minute Arts lesson once a week with Mrs. Knauf.

Students begin a comprehensive study of the Australian Arts Curriculum in Primary School where they learn about music, drama, dance, composition, performing, responding and creating. Students use their individual school Apple iPads to enhance their learning during their weekly Arts lesson. There will be performances at parades and school concerts throughout the year.
