Each year Palmview hosts a number of signature events across the year. Below is a list of events and the approximate dates.
Parade: Parades are held each Tuesday afternoon from 2:15-3:00pm in the Hall. Paernts are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Leadership Investiture: The Annual Leadership Investiture the formal recognition of our school leaders. The Leaders are presented their official badges and recognised at a special morning parade typically held early in Term 1.
End of Year Awards: Each year we celebrate the achievements of student at our End of Year Awards Parade. This morning parade held usually in Week 8 of Term 4, acknowledges students from each class using the categories of TRUST, CONNECT and GROW.
Year 6 Graduation: The Year 6 Graduation is a significant event and milestone for our departing Year 6 students. This is a school event held during school hours. The Year Graduation is a special morning parade that is typically held in Week 9 of Term 4. The parade is followed by a Morning Tea that is prepared by the Year students and the SAKG team and concludes with the cutting of the Year 6 Graduation Cake.
SAKG Volunteers/School Sponsors Morning Tea: We welcome volunteers and sponsors at Palmview and annually we celebrate and thank their contribution by hosting a Morning Tea. Usually held towards the end of the year in Term 4.
